Ondřej Lepka

Director of the Consilium School Network
Ondřej Lepka was a CEO of a Education group providing education from kindergarten to 8-year high school. Together with his team he has gone through the whole process of International Baccalaureate accreditation. Ondřej believes that learning is a lifelong process. He believes that it is important to know that making a mistake is not bad. According to him, a well-established school creates a sort of a golden circle - a satisfied student, the teacher and the parent. To achieve that, two-way effective communication is essential. He would like to apply all the skills he gained in HR (Human resources), use his experience with education and knowledge of the Czech scholar legislation. His goal is to establish well-functioning education system. In his free time, he likes to travel and meet with his friends.


Šárka Ochmanová

Director
Šárka Ochmanová studied primary school teaching in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ostrava. She has devoted her entire professional career to teaching. In addition to Czech state education, she has come to know the teaching systems of many different countries, whether as a parent during her two-year stay in the United States or in the position of teacher, and later deputy principal, at private elementary schools. She had the opportunity to see the teaching system in Steve Jobs' schools in Holland and Great Britain, including the practical use of iPads in teaching, which is supported directly by Apple. Her management is based on teamwork, where she uses, among other things, the mentoring skills she acquired as part of her lifelong education. She is fulfilled by working with people, where she can make use of her rich experience.


Matylda Sloupová

Deputy Director, 5.A Class Teacher, Preventist
Matylda graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University, specializing in primary school education with a focus on music education. She further expanded her education at the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies (CTU) in the field of Methodology for English Teachers. Most recently, she also successfully completed a specialization study in school prevention methodology at Charles University. During her practice, she gained extensive experience at state schools and also spent a year in the USA. Before joining the Beehive team, she worked at an international school, where she taught Czech for foreigners in addition to Czech language and social studies. Matylda has completed a number of advanced courses for teachers: Creative School – Activity-Based Learning, Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking, Methodology for Effective Integration of Interactive Whiteboards into Teaching, Systemic Pedagogy, Formative Assessment, and others. Since the 2023/24 school year, she has also been the deputy headmistress and a member of the school counseling center (ŠPP) in the role of school prevention specialist. She enjoys working with children and the class community, she finds it fulfilling. She likes to incorporate music into her teaching – she plays the guitar and sings. Her motto is to constantly educate herself and learn something new every day, which she also inspires her students to do. In her free time, she leads an active family life with her husband, two children, dog, and two parrots. She loves culture and regularly attends the ballet and the Letní Letná festival. She is actively involved in dance and body combat, enjoys reading and traveling, and is, last but not least, an enthusiastic Cimrmanologist.


Hannah Grace Delia

Director of English Studies, 1.A English Teacher
Hannah is from Connecticut (U.S.A.) and has been working with children in various capacities since she was a teenager, at which time she began working in a preschool and teaching swim lessons. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus in mathematics from the University of Maine. During her time at university, Hannah spent time studying multicultural approaches to education and pedagogy in Reggio Emilia, Italy at the Università degli studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. This experience inspired her to move abroad after graduation, and to work in an international and diverse environment. Hannah has worked at Beehive since 2019, where she loves working with the children and helping to bring their passions and curiosities to life. Her favourite part of teaching is connecting with students and teaching through alternative methods such as games, songs, and group activities. She also has a passion for children's books - reading with her class is a vital part of each day. Since 2023, she has been the Director of English Studies, coordinating the English curriculum and helping the English side of Beehive to grow. When she is not at school, Hannah records her voice for a character on a language learning app that she collaborates with. She also loves writing, swimming, and meeting with friends over coffee.


Silvia Bettesová

Administrative Assistant, Uniforms
Silvia's main focus is to support effective and comfortable school life, and to help Beehive's parents, teachers and children. Silvia graduated from the Faculty of Education in English, German and Literature. Silvia uses her knowledge and skills to make Beehive School the right place for children to learn and grow.


Kristýna Přibylová

School psychologist
Kristýna completed her Master's degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno. During her studies, she took part in a one-semester Erasmus+ program at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, where she focused on creativity and talent development. In addition to Psychology, she also holds a Bachelor's degree in Swedish, which she makes good use of during her trips to Scandinavia. Kristýna gained experience working with children and adolescents through various internships in different organisations, as well as by working as an instructor at children’s summer-camps. In her work, she places great emphasis on creating a safe and supportive environment where children can express themselves freely, have space for personal growth, and are confident in facing everyday challenges. She works both with individuals and with groups in classrooms. In her free time, Kristýna enjoys spending time outdoors or with her family. Her hobbies include travelling, drawing, reading Swedish crime fiction, Postcrossing, fitness, and Zumba.


Pavlína Tomešová

Czech for Foreigners Teacher
Pavlína graduated from the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University in Brno. She has been working at Beehive since 2017. She is passionate about teaching Czech language and enjoys furthering her education in this field. She is also a graduate of the Step by Step educational program and is a certified swimming instructor for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. In her spare time, she likes sports, traveling and learning new languages. Her true passion is singing, which she studied at the International Conservatory in Prague.


Šimona Lisá

Czech for Foreigners, Student Support Coordinator
Born in Prague, after a Masters degree in Andragogy and Human resources at the Faculty of Arts and a bachelors degree in English at the Faculty of Pedagogy she worked as an organiser of PR events. Later, she lived and worked a couple of years in Britain. After many years of teaching English at a secondary school, she felt the she need to slow down, which is why she is currently working at Beehive as a teacher's assistant. This year, she started an additional role as the student support coordinator for the school.


Hana Kořánová

1.A Class Teacher
Hana graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University, majoring in primary school teaching. She also studied photography at the Institute of Creative Photography at the University of Silesia in Opava. However, photography has remained mainly a hobby for her. Hana taught for several years at Londýnská Primary School, then at a nursery school, and last year at our sister school, Square Primary School. An important period in her life was the four years she spent in the USA, which helped her progress not only in terms of language skills. Hana is a mother of four children aged 8 to 20, which is a big but wonderful commitment and also a source of teaching experience and inspiration. Her older son attended Beehive, and her youngest son attends the school still. Hana loves being outdoors, especially in the mountains, swimming, beach volleyball, cycling, gardening, theater, exhibitions, and spending time with friends. She loves to sing and plays several instruments as an amateur, and she also enjoys art. She is a scout at heart and co-organizes a summer camp for children. She usually treats the children entrusted to her as her own and tries to guide them towards responsibility, independence, honesty, empathy towards others, aswell as creativity and sincerity. She would like to create a pleasant, open environment in the classroom where children can learn everything they need to know in a playful way.


Adéla Przeczková

2.A Class Teacher
Adéla graduated with a master's degree in Primary School Teaching from Palacký University in Olomouc. During her studies, she had the opportunity to spend a semester on Erasmus in Córdoba, Andalusia, which not only gave her valuable teaching experience but also a new perspective on education and cultural diversity. She played competitive basketball for 13 years, which taught her teamwork, perseverance and the importance of motivating and supporting children in their individual strengths. She also regularly gains experience abroad – since 2019, she has spent her summer holidays working with children in an international environment, where she has prepared programmes for children of various age groups. This experience has taught her a great deal of creativity, improvisation and patience, which she now transfers to the school environment. In the classroom, she emphasises a safe and friendly environment where every child can develop at their own pace and enjoy discovering the world around them.


Khadija Ibrahim

2.B & 3.A English Teacher
Nine years ago, Khadija relocated to the Czech Republic in pursuit of her advanced education. Holding a Master's degree in teaching English as a second language, she has been teaching the English language and other subjects in English for nine years. Throughout this time, she taught diverse age groups in three countries: Yemen, Jordan, and the Czech Republic. Prior to joining Beehive, Khadija dedicated six years to teaching at a private primary school in Pardubice. She also holds a TEFL certification from SPEVACEK language school, where she maintains a part-time teaching position. Khadija's teaching philosophy is rooted in learning by doing. Her teaching style embraces the saying, "Teach me and I forget, show me and I remember, engage me and I learn." Outside of her professional endeavors, Khadija maintains an enthusiasm for learning new things. She finds delight in activities such as dancing, cultural events, nature, photography, and travelling.


Kateřina Roháľová

3.A Class Teacher
Kateřina is from Prague, she graduated and gained a masters degree in primary school education with a focus on art education at the Faculty of Education. She has been teaching for more than twenty years and gained a lot of experience in teaching children of various age groups in the Czech Republic and abroad. Kateřina completed a number of extension courses for teachers but Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking (RWCT) was her favourite and she uses such methods when working with classes. Kateřina likes travelling and exploring new countries and cultures, her last ten years she spent in Romania, where she taught Czech expats the Czech language and culture. Apart from travelling, Kateřina likes animals and dogs are her favourite.


Petra Mishevska

3.A English Teacher, Spanish Teacher
After finishing her BA in English Language and Literature, Petra started teaching Spanish at a language school in Macedonia. A few months later, she also started working as a full time English and Spanish teacher at EFIS (International French School of Skopje). While living in Skopje, she came to Prague for a month to finish the CELTA course at Oxford House. Three years after working as a teacher in Macedonia, she moved to Prague and started working as an English and Spanish teacher at ZS Victoria School. Teaching is Petra’s first love and she cannot imagine herself doing anything else other than that. She loves spending her free time with her family, including her dog Lungo. Apart from that, she likes doing pilates and yoga. She also loves reading and of course, traveling.


Stanislava Stašková

2.B Class Teacher, Speech Therapist, Special Education
Stanislava graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University with a degree in primary school education. In her further studies, she also completed coures in special pedagogy (special education) with a focus in speech therapy. She gained experience with children while working for many years at an elementary school. While there, she focused mainly on children with specific needs and learning to work patiently with these students. Within her work on correcting speech and maximizing attention spans, Stanislava considers traditional methodology as well as relaxation techniques and alternative methods. Stanislava studied English abroad and worked in Australia, where she applied her language skills and also earned citizenship. She has family there, whom she regularly visits. Spending time with children, who return her joy with their smiles, is one of her favorite things to do. Stanislava also plays the piano, likes to create art from different materials and enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle.


Jana Rožánková

4.A Class Teacher
Jana graduated with a degree in primary teaching from the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague. Her studies enabled her to gain a deeper understanding of Professor Hejný's mathematics methodology, the elements of which she applies in her teaching. During her studies, she was involved in a number of volunteer activities. She spent time tutoring the children of medical professionals while completing a one-month internship in Indonesia. Jana places a great emphasis on providing a safe and supportive classroom climate, which she considers essential for effective learning. In her free time, she practices yoga and is interested in living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Her great passion is dancing, which she has been devoted to since childhood.


Purva Sawant-Varley

4.A & 5.A English Teacher
Purva graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Pune, India, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma from Xavier’s Institute of Communication. After an initial career in marketing, she discovered her passion for teaching and completed her CELTA at Oxford House in Prague. Since 2018, Purva has been dedicated to education, and this marks her 6th year at Beehive, creating a classroom environment where every student feels safe, heard, and curious. When she's not teaching, she loves cooking, reading, fitness, traveling and art.


Joshua Harris

Physical Education Teacher, Družina (Afternoon Club)
Josh recently made the move from Square School to Beehive, he is from Birmingham England and is health and fitness enthusiast. He is a fully qualified personal trainer with in-depth knowledge of nutrition and physiology of the body. He has an undergraduate degree from University College Birmingham as well as an MBA from Carson Newman University in Tennessee, obtained through a football scholarship. Josh has played semi professional football for a number of years and currently plays here for a team in Prague. He has a passion for working with children developing their sport skills and educating them on how they can be healthy.

Mrs. Saddiqua moved to Prague in 2023, she is a clinical psychologist by profession and working as global master trainer for prevention and mental health with States Department from past 15 years. She served in several continent and trained a number of the mental health professionals round the globe, (more than 37 countries) of Asia, Africa including USA and Latin America. Currently she is perusing her doctorate degree from Charles University.
